The People Behind the Fund

I started my first company at 23 — a licensed insurance brokerage that grew to 12 states and 500+ policies in under two years. That experience taught me what most venture investors never learn firsthand: what it actually takes to build, sell, and scale from zero.

Dusty Ventures grew out of that conviction. I saw gaps in markets I knew intimately — golf tech, cognitive performance, civic data — and started building. Today, the fund both invests in external founders and operates its own portfolio companies through our venture studio model.

I believe the best investors are builders themselves. Every company in our portfolio benefits from hands-on operational support, not just capital. We ship code, close deals, and solve problems alongside our founders.
